Scissor tail hovers on air while searching for insects. If you locate one perches low on glassy field, wait patiently, that’s most effective way of capturing it in flight. I drove all over village creek attempted to get this flycatcher on air, and years of doing that, finally got lucky. I landed more than a few keepers that day.
