That’s a female cooper hawk lives near my neck of wood, she is 1/3 bigger in size and has orange eyes instead of red ones as oppose to a male gender. She perched under a shade waited for her mate returns with food. A situation likes this call for steady hands and testament of how “low” can you handhold a 700mm 12.125-lb set-up?
1/30th of a second is what the exif says, not tack sharp but very very sharp. A year of weight lifting certainly helps but honestly, wish i had a support me instead. These guys are weird though, they never show up or wouldn’t let me get closer whenever i have a tripod. It’s like — i will pose for you, but you will have to get it the hard way.
