Took my new (used) MPE-65mm for a spin on a calmed evening and caught this white hairy prince resting on a dried leaf. The cream of the crop macro lens is a hard tool to operate. It’s short in distance, only 65mm and no focus mechanism (no focus ring), and with maximum focus distance of 4-inch, chances are your preys are long gone before you point at it. Focusing is done with moving your camera around. Many have tried and failed, i hope to put this unique lens in good use.
