Pearland Bald Eagles – nest and eaglets

Took a short trip to south Houston last weekend, visited a nesting pair of bald eagle at Pearland, Texas. The eagle’s nest is located on an abandon farm house near a water detention center in the Cypress neighborhood. The chicks, two of them were about 2-3 weeks old and well fed with American coots and fishes brought home from parent.

I planned to spend couple evenings there but the weather turned to worst the next day.
