Long awaited, the first barred owl owlet made its first appearance late friday evening at Sunset bay, White Rock Lake. It was a cold evening and near dark at 8PM when this picture was taken but the superior Canon 2X III made it possible – wide open, 1000mm at 1/8s!
Hope there’s more inside the nest cavity.
