The Barred Owls are deep in the wood tending to the fledglings this time of the year at White Rock Lake. I have not seen this adult came out in late evening hooting for quite some time, and the timing can’t be better – at the prime of golden sunset. The light was perfect. I took few steps back to included the surroundings which I have made mistakes in the past not doing.
