Village Creek Drying Bed at Arlington Texas is the only place i know of you can get killer shots of Black Necked Stilt in North Dallas area when the condition is right. During the hot summer, the beds are drying up, gradually shrink to small puddles where shorebirds congregate and feed in one spot. That’s the time the mudflat is most productive though the smell of dead animate and waste from sewage system is rather unbearable.
