Black-necked Stilt with Open Bill

Gone mudding this morning at Village Creek, the pools dried up nicely just the temperature that’s hard on living creatures but thanks goodness it was cloudy. I spend roughly three hours on the pools, getting this pair of black-necked stilt on low level and in flight. The sewer treatment pools are nasty and smelly but I felt great back to the game again.
